About Us

Respect for the Sea. Responsibility in catching.

Our fleet is fully committed to sustainable, selective, and artisanal fishing methods. The majority of our fish is caught using eco-friendly techniques, such as:

  • Longlines
  • Handlines
  • Trap Fishing

These methods minimize bycatch and ensure minimal impact on delicate ecosystems, allowing us to protect the environment while sourcing
premium fish.

Fish Directly from the Gulf of Taranto

Our fleet fishes exclusively for you in the Ionian Sea, delivering wild fish like sargo, sea bass, sea bream, grouper, swordfish, tuna, and more.

We eliminate the middlemen—every fish comes directly from experienced
coastal fishermen who use traditional, sustainable methods. We know precisely which boat, which zone, and which method the fish comes from. Transparency is key for us; catch and origin are a promise, not a secret.

At a time when many consumers don’t know where their fish comes from, we stand for full transparency and genuine wild-caught fish. No industrial fishing. No vague origins. Just wild. Traceable. Personal.

Sustainable Trawling: Responsible and Selective
While we rarely use trawling, in select cases, small trawls are deployed from boats with 3–5 sailors. These trawls are designed for:

  • Shrimp and bottom-dwelling fish
  • Small nets, minimizing environmental impact
  • Selected zones where corals and seagrass beds remain unaffected
  • Areas that regenerate quickly and are regularly monitored

We strongly distance ourselves from industrial trawling, which devastates seabeds and generates excessive bycatch. Our philosophy is clear: fishing with responsibility, in harmony with nature, the region, and the local communities who rely on it.

Pressure on the Mediterranean Regions

Adriatic Sea: High pollution due to shallow waters, agricultural runoff, and industrial wastewater. Limited water exchange leads to microplastics, over-fertilization, and wastewater buildup.

Tyrrhenian Sea: Moderate to high pollution in some regions, especially around major cities like Naples and Rome, where cruise ports and intense tourism contribute to contamination.

Gulf of Taranto: Pollution varies. While the area around Taranto is impacted by industry and urban wastewater, the deeper, open waters allow for better water exchange, and coastal stretches like Gallipoli and Porto Cesareo have excellent water quality.

Ionian Sea: Low to moderate pollution. Sparsely populated and less industrialized, with deep waters ensuring good water exchange. Many Greek coastal areas boast exceptionally clean and clear water.

Aegean Sea: Moderate pollution overall, but many regions have established protected areas where water quality is high.

Process Wild-Caught Fish: Sustainably Planned, Fresh Delivered

Our wild fish comes from responsible, traditional fisheries in the Gulf of Taranto. Every aspect of our fishing activities is carefully managed to ensure freshness, quality, and sustainability.

Here’s how we ensure the best wild-caught fish:

Advance Planning & Contract Award :
First, the larger boats are notified of accumulated customer orders well in advance, typically two days before departure. These vessels target larger fish like tuna, swordfish, and grouper and may stay out for up to three days at sea.

Information for the Coastal Fishing Fleet :
Next, with shorter lead times, the smaller coastal boats are informed. These boats fish in nearshore waters where internet reception is available, allowing them to send real-time feedback directly to our system.

Fresh Logistics & Quality Assurance :
Once the wild-caught fish return, they are immediately cooled, processed, and shipped. For smaller boats, this happens within six hours, while larger fish may take one to two days. Throughout the process, the fish are kept constantly cooled with crushed ice.

Real Wild Fish, Fresh from the Sea, Sustainably Caught, and Shipped Immediately.

There are no warehouses, no middlemen, and no frozen products. You get honest, fresh, and direct fish from the fisherman.

Sustainable & Carefully Caught

All of our fish are caught using longline fishing, a highly environmentally friendly method with minimal bycatch.

This ensures we provide the highest quality fish while maintaining a strong commitment to responsibility towards the sea.
